Hi Aiden,

Thanks for participating and for your feedback! Don't worry about not getting it this time - keep investigating how clairvoyance works as I said above, you'll become more familiar with it with pactice. Also, it can really help if you do the mantra for a few days in a row to really get the chakra activated - unfortunately you only had one day to give it a shot.

This is a fun exercise though huh?!

Who else participated? How did you go?

Okay, the time has come for me to reveal what's in the mystery envelope!

Before I do however, I want you to make sure you are aware and observing internally, and be aware of any manifestations of the ego of pride. If you are correct in 'seeing' what was on the piece of paper, watch out for thoughts or feelings of how 'good' you are, being gifted or special, even feelings of superiority. On the other hand if you are not correct, watch out for feelings of being 'not good enough', disappointed in yourself or that other people are better than you. These are all manifestations of pride.

Okay.....

It was a red square!

How did you go?! Please share your feedback :)

If you didn't get the right answer that's okay. Psychic faculties work in subtle ways, and it can take a lot of practice to learn how to recognize them. As such we shouldn't be hard on ourselves if we got a different answer (pride).

So long as we are learning from our investigations then our efforts are never wasted. We may have learned about what subconsious thoughts or images (egos) are like as opposed to conscious clairvoyant perception. Or we may have seen other obstacles we need to overcome during the practice (like the ability to concentrate during the mantra).

The more we persist in exercising this faculty, the more familiar we will become with it, and there are lots of ways we can continue to investigate clairvoyance.

For example, as another sit-down practice, after the mantra you could take a deck of playing cards, and try to visualize the top card, and turn it over to see if you were correct and so on, seeing how many you get right.

But more importantly, try to exercise this faculty in daily life. Examples include when on the phone trying to clairvoyantly 'see' what the person you are talking to is wearing (then asking them). Or trying to clairvoyantly 'see' what a place looks like that you have never been to before if you are going somewhere for the first time. The more you investigate how clairvoyance (and the other psychic facilities) work, the more familiar you will become with them!!

What I saw was a blue triangle, see the post on my blog, I would appreciated if you could respond there as well with the results in a comment to that post, for any future readers that see the post.

Anyways thanks for letting me participate, the Isis mantra was defiantly a new approach to it. Was a fun meditation, I will probably set one up thats similar for you and others to respond to soon.

Here is a tip - it is a shape and a colour. See if you can 'see' what it is after trying the mantra! The answer will be revealed tomorrow afternoon :)

Hey GnosticGril

Glad I read this in time (1 day to spare) ill do it tonight and see what I come up with, clairvoyance has never been my strong point but Ive never tried a mantra to induce it. Should be a interesting experience.

Hi Peter,

Thanks for the link! That sounds really interesting, I'll check it out :)

It's not so much that he 'chose' the name as such, rather it is the name of his Master (a higher aspect of his being), which was revealed to him at a certain point along the path.

But if you are interested in finding out more about this, you can read about his story here: http://belzebuub.com/about-belzebuub/belzebuub-story

His books are pretty good aren't they?!

Thanks for stopping by, and I'm off to visit your blog now :)

I thought I would post some of the discussion from last time we did this investigation as it may be helpful:

**********************
Thank You Amy :-)

I have a question,, In this case where we are trying to find out something very specific, should we have that "something" in the back of our minds somehow while doing the mantra? or do we just practice the mantra for a while and then later try to see the answer clairvoyantly?

My main obstacles with the mantra ISIS is when pronouncing the 'sssssss'. I feel stress in my jaw and my facial muscles get tense. So I'm back to the mantra "I", but I'd greatly appreciate any suggestions to overcome that tense feeling.

Thanks
Nadia

**********************
Hi Nadia,

For this practice we just try to concentrate on pronouncing the mantra, and once the corresponding chakras are active, to awaken the psychic faculty by attempting to use it. Learning how to use it and how it workes. But certainly there is a room for experimentation here...you can try to hold the remembrance of the goal through the whole practice and see if it can produce better results.

Everytime when the mantra is pronounced outloud, it generates some tension. The question is how much of it is sufficient, "just enough" to make a steady nice-sounding sound.

One thing which can be tried is to relax the face before the practice by tensing up stiff muscles for a short periods of time and then letting it go. Once the face is very relaxed, we can start the mantra and pay a particular attention to keeping the jaw and all the face very relaxed, just letting out the air with a gentle, snake-like "SSSSSSSSSS....". Exhalation of air in relaxed way is a good way to relax deeper by itself.

All the best with practices to you and to all of us,

Vadim

**********************

Hi Nadia,

As Vadim mentioned, concentrate on the mantra while you are doing it. I find it helps me to stay focused if I also visualize the chakra spinning while pronouncing it. Alternatively you can concentrate on just the sound. The more concentrated you are, the more effective it will be.

In the past when I tried to visualize the hidden “something” at the same time as pronouncing the mantra, and I found this distracted me from the practice. I would start having thoughts; “I wonder if the object is this”... “Is this just my imagination/egos, or an I really seeing something?”, “No I don't think the object is really that, maybe it is this?” etc. In the end I was just thinking and not concentrating on the practice at all, and I didn't find it effective.

But as Vadim very importantly pointed out, investigation vital, and you should experiment with how you approach the practice to learn about how it works and what is effective for you. For example, some people (like myself) find it helps to stay concentrated by incorporating visualization of the chakra into the practice, but others prefer to concentrate on just the sound. Having the goal in the back of your mind may be something that works for you, but watch for the traps of the mind that I spoke about which are obstacles for me.

After a concentrated practice on the mantra, try being still and see if anything comes to you. Psychic faculties are qualities of the consciousness and are beyond the mind, so the challenge is to learn how they work as opposed to normal thought. You may also find that as the week progresses and you are doing the mantra each day, that it is more effective towards the end of the week.

Vadim gave some excellent pointers for overcoming the tension you are experiencing in your jaw and facial muscles.

I hope that helps :)

All The Strength!

Hi,

I ran across your site and saw the video with Belzebuub (still don't know why he chose such a sinsiter name). I've read many of hsi books.

Though you might be interested to view my website

http://www.popeannalisa.com/

It is a gnostically oriented site centered around a fictional trilogy of books dealing with spiritual issues from a gnostic viewpoint. The first book, Pope Annalisa, is about an African nun who becomes the first female pope and begins to restore gnosticism.

Regards,
